I can't stand the smell of curry, I always feel like I'm going to throw up. Love the smell of onions/garlic and herbs, also love the smell of a roast. Bread cooking is another. My favourite food smell is when someone is having a barbie - it could be down the round or around the corner, and the smell travels for miles! I find my mouth salivating when inhaling.

Most things cooking smell pretty good to me. Brussels sprouts, broccoli and cabbage are the vilest smelling things when being cooked, but I can eat cabbage and broccoli if served with some kind of sauce. Brussels sprouts, well there's not many positive things to say about em. Meat being cooked is a great smell, but maybe offal being cooked wouldn't smell so good.

According to that article they have never used that chemical in their bread in the UK.
Their stores still have a distinctive smell. Out of interest, why do people hate them so much?
On the few times I've been to one here they seemed ok, though I only eat veggie options.

That intersection that I was talking about: it seems to be getting worse and worse. Is there a way to report foul smells to the police?

Hate whatever it Subway smell of, can't stand the smell of cooked fish, burned toast, deep frying, overripe banana, cheap burger meat, kebab meat (the stuff on that rotating stick) or flavoured scab (black pudding).

Don't like the smell of lamb either.
Anything citrusy is great, especially lime. Strawberries also very nice and remind me of this time of year.

I love the smell of French bakeries, freshly brewed coffee, sea-food restaurants in Croatia, and tangerines. Boiled cabbage, or cauliflower makes me retch. Also, I'm not a fan of beef stock boiling.

The soul satisfying smell of freshly baked bread, especially one that comes out of my own oven.
Indian food, and all curries. I get physically sick, it's that's serious. I tried and tried but my body didn't agree.

Oh yes, canned tuna smell is seriously vile. I have no idea how people can eat the stuff. This. Oh, so very this. It smells like someone already ate it and threw it back up. I remember in my younger days striking a deal with the guy at the desk next to me. He wouldn't buy a tuna sandwich for lunch if I was hungover, and I would refrain from complaining on every other day. Himself is allowed to eat it - but the bowl gets cleaned immediately after use, and the can gets rinsed and sealed into a bag before going in the bin. I don't care if that's not environmentally friendly - it's friendly to my goddam environment!
