i never read 'of mice and men' until i had to help a student with it, and i nearly busted out bawling in our tutor time!

Too many to list, including Shakespeare, Jane Austen and Dickens. Things Fall Aprt was on the list in Solomon Islands, and I read it while teaching there. Of the others listed, I've only read the Diary of Anne Frank (and visited her house in Amsterdam).

loved the shakespeare - romeo & juliet, hamlet did not like wm faulkner - the bear - now one of my favs did not like joyce - the dead - should have assigned araby lots of steinbeck - it was cali & he's super popular
on my own, loved wuthering heights, catcher in the rye, tess of the d'ubervilles, far from the madding crowd, david copperfield, christmas carol, hemingway, lord of the flies
