25. A Curious Beginning (Veronica Speedwell #1) Deanna Raybourn
A decent enough historical adventure tale. It did drag at the beginning and there wasn't much of a mystery. Veronica was an interesting enough character and so I have the second book to try.
26. How to Be Happy - Eva Woods.
A novel based around the idea of doing the 100 Happy Days (or gratitude days etc) challenge. Annie meets Polly in the hospital - Annie is visiting her mother who has dementia, Polly is dying of brain cancer. This book could have been very very twee but it worked for me and had some genuinely funny moments. So a good chick lit uplifting read.
