Feeding my Mother by Jann Arden. The author (for non Canadians) is a well known singer/actor and social commentator. This book is a sort of diary of her life with her parents during the last couple of years of their lives. They didn’t live with her, but next door and were over frequently especially for meals. The book is in turn, heartbreaking, emotional and brutally honest without being graphic or mean as her father wanted away and her mother descended into the hells of Alzheimer’s. Good book but hard to read.
