20. A Ladies Guide to Etiquette and Murder - Diane Freeman.
A rather far fetched historical cozy mystery. Still, it made for good escapism. Not sure if I would read more in the series.
21. The Unhoneymooners - Christina Lauren. Chick lit - enemies to lovers stuff.
22. The Girl Who Reads on the Metro - Christine FĂ©ret-Fleury
Translated from French it is a very "Amelie' French quirkiness about it. A girl reads on a train, looks at other people reading on the train, ends up quitting her job after stumbling over a bookshop and starts handing out random books to people to try to change their lives.
23. False Values - Ben Aaronovtich. The latest in the Rivers of London series. I still love the series.
24. House of Trelawney - Hannah Rothschild.
I loved this - family saga of an aristocratic family and how their house and lives are crumbling around them. Set during the GFC, which was sort of a light relief as I was reading this as the Covid stuff really hit hard.
25. Waiting for Tom Hanks - Kerry Winfrey.
Chick lit - the author loves rom coms. The reader probably needs to love them as well if you want to enjoy this.
