Nice pics!
Sadly a pet free zone here - couldn't cope with all the travelling/commuting in our house.
We do have resident bobtail lizards, skinks, bandicoots and a possum wanders over the roof frequently at about 2am (wanders? gallops like an elephant!).
And a resident fluffy white and grey scaredy cat - not ours.

In that case, here's a pic of my adopted alpaca who I walked for my birthday (he's had a haircut since that pic). imgur.com/gallery/MWHI70B

Aww, all the lovely pets and non-pets! The more photos of beasties the better in my view.
Ron, I'd forgotten about your beautiful pooches, just lush.
Snow is currently snoozing on the dog bed under the stairs, and has now had her first pig's ear (that we know of) which seemed to go down well once she's figured out it was edible. Missy ate hers first, then stole Snow's when she was outside so I had to recover it. It seems this helped Snow as once it was covered in Missy slobber she happily ate it! It was lovely to see her focused on something for first time, so small steps and positive ones.
It's also bonfire night here so there are fireworks all over the place, but she doesn't seem to be batting an eyelid - Missy and Stella have both been watching them through the windows!

Viv, give it all so much time! My Klara is a rescue from Taiwan, and the damage was deep. A lot of things took more time or required more effort than I anticipated, even though I'm a very experienced dog person. She's now wonderfully dorky, but still requires extra care in public and around strangers.

Ok, not a pet but figured the animal lovers will find it here. Doesn't this look like someone shoved a soft toy in the tree, rather than a real live animal? It is so cute.

Is that a possum dressing as a koala for Halloween?

Snow is still terrified of lots of things, but I did manage to take her out on a harness for a few minutes of sniffing the other day. If you look at her left ear, there's a large healed slit in it - apparently they mark dogs this way in parts of Romania. I'm not sure quite what it signifies.

Lovely pooch! BBC2 is running a series on familes with new puppies, it is adorable and educational. Not getting a dog, but it's good to hear different dog experts interpreting different dogs.

My files are too big - but who is friends with me on facebook knows Suki and Mika. Mika is a 8 year old british blue - your typical lazy one - rescued from a breeder three years ago. I think I lost 4 cats in 5 years - as I tended to adopt the oldies tat nobody wanted - and the last time losing Leah nearly broke me. So Bill, my vet decided I need a kitten - he knew I had the blues a bit during the first lockdown and really wanted a second cat again.I said he is nuts, and instead fostered for the vet practice (they could not pass cats or dogs that were found or given up on to charities as they were all closed). Mika hated them all, but all found good homes in weeks. Then early August he called me on a Tuesday to tell me to come vet tomorrow at 4 to pick up my kitten - and I gave in (mother was found on the street, mixed breed, I think some oriental as Suki is skinny as a rake, but full of energy). So I ended up with a kitten - with all this knowledge on how to treat older and ill cats and I had a crazy little black furball who wanted either to play or lie on top of me...Or annoy Mika. She's now 5 months old and I don't know how I would have gone through some recent tough times without her, she's literally my shadow - sleeps on my lap when I work, in my bed when I sleep, and makes me laugh every day. And Mika tolerates her by now, as long as she doesn't jump on top of her!

We're staying strong on this one, she doesn't get anything at the table. She might get a little something after we're finished eating (like some leftover boiled egg in this case), but never at the table.

You don't have pets, you have a menagerie! I'd like to have chickens, but I'm not willing to do the work to protect them from our foxes.
