how would you describe your style? what kind of food do you cook most often? the one country you'd visit or move to just to eat and drink?
me:
cooking: 'rustic' (as in chucking everything in) and resourceful. and i do not follow recipes.
eating: i often make food in the style of German/Spanish/Portuguese.
country to eat and drink: Spain has my heart. completely and utterly.

Cooking - same, rustic and based on taste (I like lots of full flavours)
Eating - Asian, South American and English typically
Country - India or Thailand

cooking: I love this term - 'rustic'. I use some recipes as loose guides and go from there. My cooking has come a long way in the last 5 years - I think I was always a decent cook, but I'm much better now - more creative and intuitive.
eating: I make a lot of American, French-Canadian, French, Greek, Italian, and comfort foods.
country to eat and drink: France.

Cooking style - ha! I do't think I have a style, I just make what I like...somehow, unstylish:-)
Cook mainly german, italian (pasta!), english (if you call cauliflower cheese, fish dishes and a made up bean stew english? I learned it here), mexican, stir-fries
Country? Franconia (region of germany), italy and thailand

I cook wok-style. Chuck in vegetables, sometimes even fruit, meat, fish, rice or noodles. Done.
Indonesian, Thai and italian.
Country: Indonesia, without a doubt.

cooking style? Asking my husband if he needs anything from the store (as he does the cooking in the house!)
I don't think we have a particular style - really depends on what we have, what we feel like and how much time we have ... probably typically North American (mix of comfort foods, "international", stuff our mums made)
Food country - hhm, tough one. France? Italy? Thailand? somewhere with lots of different types of restaurants?

Italian/Thai/Chinese is most popular! i do like Thai food, it's just the curries that i'm not fond of. and speaking of curries... no Indian food for moi. is Indonesian food in NL decent/good? i have had it a couple of times but not sure if it was 'authentic'. (have not been to Indonesia) can Romi make Franconian Schäufele and Krustenbraten? i once had really nice Krustenbraten at Hütt'n in Nürnberg.

Cooking: I usually say "peasant" but "rustic" will do.
Eating: When I eat out, I like food that I can't cook better myself, That generally means from somewhere in Asia.

cooking: probably rustic, but i'm trying to go seasonal, which has resulted in some creative stuff popping up. i was really into morroccan for a while, then italian, then malaysian-inspired... i have a short attention span. whatever looks pretty at the moment.
eating: everything. but like vinny, i prefer to eat something i can't make, or that i've never tried. then i try to make it myself.
country: not possible. but i suspect an awful lot of people in britain eat like me.

Cooking: Fairly basic, we can go with rustic if you'd like. I can make really complex things, but when I'm just making food for me it's pretty much a free-for-all into the pot. I don't cook Asian very often. Country for food: Turkey. I want to nail that flavor profile. It seems like every meal I ate there was amazing, from the nice restaurants to the roadside stands.

cooking: eclectic, fusion, seasonal, improvised like sashimi in a soy jalapeno sauce w fruit from the farmers market or soup made from what's in the vegetable crisper
like vinnyd, what i can't/don't cook myself - shabu shabu, wontons, sushi
countries: hong kong, japan, spain (especially donostia), france

i can cook. anything, when i am in the mood.
i dont cook asian ( chinese, japanese) at home. no point where i live.
fav countries for food - but not that food in canada: turkey, mexico, thailand, india, vietnam,
least favourite: italian food, - unless in expensive restaurants. most eastern euopean food is the best home made. sucks in restaurants.
