Sneaking this one in although it's for January. Cape Verde Islands (the main island of Santiago). Tip: budget airline to Canaries and then 2 hour cheap flight on to Cape Verde.

looking at flights to China, possibly for September, but prices have jumped a lot more than I had anticipated... :-(

Woo Hoo! I'm off to New York in December to spend Xmas with my son and his husband - travelling with my daughter. We plan on adjusting our jet lag in Houston, then doing a small road trip via Clarksdale, Memphis, Chicago before we get to NY. My daughter flies back to Melbs on New years Day and a week later I'll continue eastwards to Switzerland for a week the back to Melbs via Singapore. I plan on staying here in Switzerland. Flights are booked and paid for. Woot! Oh, I forgot ... I've off to New Zealand in 6 weeks - Auckland, Tongariro, Wellington, all in 12 days. Trial run as a solo traveller - Jetstar sale tickets and hostels. |

Did Solomon Islands in June/July, and in 2 weeks am heading on a road trip to Adelaide. Attending a conference and catching up with friends.
