The next international piss up? I have no (non work related) flights booked and it makes me anxious!
Ideas? Inspiration? Miss you all!

Yes please!
I think I'm going to Munich in December. I'll get the dates so I know when that's happening to try and prevent a clash.

I'd really like to try to make one of these. If it's going to be December, can it be before the flight prices start going up for Christmas/Christmas markets?

I'll be too fresh on the job to do September, sadly but don't let that stop the rest of you! If anyone fancies a spa weekend in say... Budapest ... first weekend in December I would be *way* up for that!

I "might" be in Bangkok or Singapore at Christmas.
But I guess that doesn't fit in with either Europe or before Christmas fares happen.
Boo.

Just had a quick look and it seems Christmas fares are edging up from the 11th/12th December... so shall we be bold and say lets get together weekend of the 27th of November?
I would love to go back to Budapest. I know it's cheap to fly to from many places, interesting and there is an easily accessible (and cheap!) public bath, but also open to other suggestions?

Poppy and others: NZ in late August/early September? would love to but I think I have to stay home a bit at the moment and see my bank balance grow a little. Heading to Singapore/Hong Kong possibly in January with daughter and TB - how about March/April time.

having just spent 45 minutes tallying up london-buda flights..
any advice on booking patterns?
Friday is running 59--90 gbp, sunday 35--80 gbp. are those reasonable? any likelihood of cheap deals being released 3 months in advance?

I'm going to wait until I'm a few weeks in post, but happy to book by the end of July. Just want to make sure I don't have work responsibilities I don't know about yet
