Just you, or you and the kids and the Prince? We stayed in Prenzlauer Berg - family hipster area. Honestly, we saw more kids in the 5 days we had in Berlin than we did in the rest of our holiday.  |

Just me. I just want somewhere simple but not dodgy to stay. Moderate budget. Preferably near a shopping mall and some decent places to eat...

Decent places to eat are all over Berlin! Cookie was just there, she had loads of pics of great food. |

As long as you stay within the ring, you won't be far from shopping. Mall of Berlin and the Alexa at Alexanderplatz are probably best. Let me know if you want to meet up for a drink |
