From approximately what age might children enjoy (at least some of) it?

Wouldn't it depend on the shows you pick? One of my favourite Aussie kids show were at the the fringe this year -The Listies. I'd say they'd work for ages 6 and up. Hilarious, work well for the kids with fart and poo gags and usually enough jokes for the adults to make the parents cry with laughter as well. As for other shows, I can't talk about the fringe but I regularly took LC to various shows (music, theatre) at the Opera House here from when he was 2. If it is a kids production and it is kept short enough kids are often happy to be there. A few things went too long and then the last part was just an endless shuffling noise from kids who were over it. Others were perfectly pitched and there wasn't a single shuffling noise through the whole show. Read the reviews on parenting sites etc - that's the best way to work it out!

You mean not every three year-old would enjoy Under Milk Wood?
Wondered if anyone here had taken children along, or been to family shows themselves... There are listings for everything from 0-24 months up.
