I have forgotten where to go to do this. My eyes are getting worse so I think if I darken the text it might help. Could any kind soul put me in the right direction please? I also wish to increase thee size of the text but it is already on the largest one. What should I do. Thanking you in advance.

If you are using an iPad, you can increase the size of the text on the page you are reading by touching the screen with 2 fingers and moving them apart.

If you go into profile, edit profile, then settings, you can see forum themes.
Changing that to another option might help - try tastefully teal?

.... and I realise that this may present difficulties, but would you be able to get a larger screen. I dumped my 27" screen when I made residence up here permanent, but regret it. My current 23" screen just doesn't always give me the definition that I need.
Figjam is just fine, but detail on some other platforms becomes difficult.

Change default size in your browser preferences. That will make everything bigger.
What browser are you using?

Groo, my iPad Air 2 has a 9.7” screen. Junior gave me this when he upgraded, so this was his old one. When he upgraded that one, he didn’t give me ols old one - he sold it! Still, I am grateful for what I have.

Change default size in your browser preferences. That will make everything bigger. What browser are you using? PSW, iPad uses Safari.

for Safari (desktop, prob.the same on iPad-)
open Preferences - in the menu under Safari at the top of your screen you should get a small box open Advanced (last on the right), you will see: Never use font sizes smaller than - and a box with up&down arrows whatever number it shows, go higher - keep going until it's easy to read. This changes the whole browser so everything will be in larger print, not just figjam Good luck!

The text gets bigger if the iPad is sideways.

You can also enlarge your current page with COMMAND and + together, but it's just one page. Shrink back down again with COM and -.
If it's a chronic problem, changing the preference default is a durable solution.

And also maybe it's time to see the ophthalmologist/check your glasses prescription....

And... you could check the 'display brightness' settings. My devices will often randomly decide to dim themselves, and if I'm not looking at the moment it happens, I briefly think I have cataracts or a tumor or something.

That's true - if I unplug this laptop even for a minute to show pero something, it will automatically dim itself, I guess to save battery
