As a struggling technologically challenged deprived person, who can advise me on how to make the forum narrower? Suddenly when I’m on Figjam, it is just a smidgeon too wide for the screen. How do I fix this please?

I just keep banging away at buttons on the bottom lhs of the keyboard and things generally come right.
I hope that you have not been befuddled by my technical language.

I thought you were using an iPad, no?
Just pinch with two fingers horizontally. Fingers touching the screen.

I'm using an iPad mini to read this forum, but read it in a browser (Edge). The forum page resizes itself to fit whether I hold it in portrait or landscape. figjamnation.proboards.comI'll try it in Safari now to see what happens. Edit to add: same in Safari.

Mine is the same type of device as yours, and it works perfectly in Safari.

Phar, any chance you hit the "show as desktop" option at the bottom of the screen? If there is, try clicking it again.
I would be inclined turning it off and on again first though. That is actually a proper and reasonable solution.

That is actually a proper and reasonable solution. I have the same model iPad as Phar. There are no icons at the bottom of the screen.

The 'Show as Desktop' option is in the three dots on my iPad at top right and three bars on my iPhone on the bottom right. Apparently the three bars can be called 'the hamburger'.
Oh - that's using 'Edge' browser - I don't use Safari, so maybe not helpful info.
But looked in Safari just now and can't see that option anywhere. - hmm it can be set in Settings>Safari but that makes it always show the desktop site. I tried it and it makes no difference to how Figjam looked on my iPhone.

Ok - I got it. In Safari (on this iPad anyway) tap the Aa symbol on the left of the address bar at the top of the screen. The 'show desktop view' or similar is there. But that makes little difference. Changiing the font size does - make the font bigger than 100% the text gets bigger than the screen - ie goes off the edge See the slider at the top of the option when the Aa is tapped. Actually it a big upper case A and a smaller upper case A. As usual, everything you need to do stuff is right in front of you on the screen - sometime you just have to tap a few things to find the right one! It's hard to break anything doing this, so don't be afraid Phar Lap - please let us know how you got on.

Thank you Jimm. Yes the Aa is there. I usually don’t play with anything I don’t know the purpose of.

This conversation has led me to check settings to see if I could revert to a normal keyboard from the split version with tiny letters, which covered key information, and was hard to type into, and voila! I’ve got my old keyboard back.
