when i go watch dance, depending on the season, ill wear my miyake pleats w hello kitty jewelry or a turtleneck dress with a necklace made of paper beads or my sterling duck bought in beijing
its fun to dress up now. having to dress all the time is tiring, esp during my corporate daze

I saw a cool-looking guy wearing socks and sandals today, so there goes another "rule" we no longer have to worry about.
Though admittedly they were black socks with black sandals - it wasn't a particularly high-contrast look.

We had a quintessential Englishman teaching the friars next door while in Solomon Islands. While everyone else wore thongs (called slippers in the islands) or went barefoot, he deliberately wore socks with his sandals.
