A dog (puppy) was shot yesterday at Auckland Airport. He was in training to be an aviation security dog and bolted on to the tarmac about 430am. 3 hours later he was shot. He would have been absolutely terrified. It is all about money. Money money money. I know he was costing money but he was only a pup. And he got shot. Because of money. I hate it. I went to work yesterday upset about it and it turned out I wasn't the only one. I can't even imagine how the avsec people are at the moment I know there could have been issued with planes landing. Safety shouldn't be compromised. But their reason wasn't safety. It was money. #fuckyouAucklandAirport

T Tha flood outside a cafe belonging to young friends of mine (Keen on Green) yellow-green sign. They couldn't lift fixtures like the fridge and the coffee machine because Kate has severe back problems.

On this morning's news, the CBD and two low-lying suburbs are still under evacuation orders, but people are trying to check their houses. One mother I know is sending out unauthorised appeals on behalf of the evacuation centre, and when people arrive with what she has requested,, they are being turned away. She lives in a low-lying suburb, so is an evacuee, not a worker. Another friend, is, we think, stranded in the flat above her shop.

it was my brother's birthday today (well yesterday, it's after midnight) and he was sad and said it is "not his day" because of some pain and him being worried that there might be symptoms of more health problems ...

someone i know is one of the most smothering & clinging parents ever. now her child is a teen who doesn't tell her anything & she feels really isolated.
she also keeps comparing our kids which isnt fair to either of them since tzarevich has had an atypical childhood

I had a really vivid dream that my friend who killed herself wasn't really dead. I went into the room and hugged her and she was trying to explain why she'd had to fake her own death when I woke up.

Next door neighbour's 30-year-old grandson has been found dead in a caravan -unknown cause as yet. Remember him as the cute little red-headed kid who played with my kids in the backyard. Family devastated of course.
