I'm FINALLY booking our summer holiday. Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels and/or restaurants in any of the above. We're getting the Eurostar to Paris, so thinking Euston or Kings cross.
Or really any other top tips.

I've only been to Paris once, in 2007, so ask someone else about hotels etc. But my favorite thing there (other than picnicking with long-ago TT'ers) was the Natural History Museum/Grande Galerie d'Evolution. Forget what made me decide to go there, but it was lovely.

I wanted to stay in the 5th arrondissement of Paris (Latin Quarter) and found a lovely family run hotel near Fontaine Saint-Michel called Hôtel du Levant. I booked direct with the hotel. A single room was 85 euro. Breakfast is good, a great selection and very filling. Hôtel du LevantThe street is lively and touristy, but that was what I wanted, so even at night there was movement and life. Good restaurant two doors up Le sainsev, a pâtissier and chocolatier opposite (Maison Georges Larnicol). Short 200m walk to Metro and RER Station.

You're spoilt for choice for food around kings Cross and st Pancras these days. If you want something special book a table at The Gilbert Scott. They have a set menu (with choices for each course) that is really reasonable.
If not, do a little search on granary square and take a look at what you fancy.
There's a nice little speakeasy style bar in the basement by the tube that has a good cocktail happy hour and some live jazz on some nights. I can dig out the name if you want.

Ps. The last time I went to Paris we stayed in an air bnb in the Latin quarter. It was fab. A proper old style Parisian walk up and just a road from the nearest metro.
If you haven't already I'd recommend you download Citymapper app. We bused it all over Paris using that app.

I haven't been to Paris for years, but when I was there stayed in the 5th also, just off the Boulevard St Germain. It was fabulous - anywhere you stumble into for food seemed to be amazing.
