Today I say cold shoulder tops. They never fit right on me and I don't like them on others. A woman in the office has been wearing them to reveal her ugly tat. I suspect they have been over on the coasts and Europe for some time.
What is your 'just stop it' trend?

Massively ripped jeans that look like a dog has chewed them. Rips have often appeared in fashion trends, but the current extreme is taking the piss.

Velvet and corduroy. I don't like the texture or the look.

I hate to go on about skinny jeans but there they are. And need to go.

I too don't get those cold shoulder tops. They make me think of a certain kind of "Long Island" woman with big hair and too many diamonds.
Too tight suits on men.

I'm not into the off-the-shoulder thing too... I think because at one point this spring I saw some thing that was like "YOU MUST BUY AN OFF-THE-SHOULDER TOP," and I was like "No I don't," and have resented their existence ever since.
My "make it stop" choice is the wide-legged mid-calf-length jeans thing. Especially with stiletto heels. Dressing like that makes you look like a lunatic.
I'll admit that I like those tight men's suits, though.

I don't find the cold shoulder so bad if you're young - for some reason it reminds me of the 60s/70s flower child look, and that always reminds me of late teens/early 20s. see, i've been thinking the opposite recently. as women age, the skin on the upper arms gets 'flappier' and a lot of women prefer a longer sleeve. so the cold shoulder is a way to show a bit of skin without showing age. still don't like it--i need my shoulders and neck to be warm. i hate leggings/workout leggings worn as pants. far too much detail on offer.

I'm old enough to want clothes that are practical and comfortable. Cold shoulder tops are neither for me. Too much sleeve when it's hot, and not enough when it's cold. They don't help my arthritic shoulders. As for leggings, they're simply ugly. I want dresses because they're cool in summer -I don't want to wear anything clinging under them.

no leggings under dresses... the luxury of a warm climate! i wear leggings under dresses, capri length in summer and full length in winter. it is fairly cool here, but also some of my dresses/skirts are a bit short so i feel less likely to flash something, and then it stops thigh rubbing too. i had forgotten how nice it is to dress for properly warm temperatures--when i was home in September it was 24-27 everyday, and i had no idea how to dress.

Makes me think Long Island Medium. She is all about big hair, and tight everything, which makes her look rather pudgy even though she might not be in R/L.

I don't even know what a "cold shoulder top' is.
The joy of being a fashion ignoramus.

I don't even know what a "cold shoulder top' is. The joy of being a fashion ignoramus. I learned it because I get these emails from J Crew, and reading them is more comforting than reading the news. But I don't like anything they have these days (e.g., the ludicrous short wide pants with heels thing), so I'm not sure why I do this,

They weren't "in" here, maybe we'll get them next summer. Or maybe they were in and I just didn't notice!
They'd look shit on me - wide shoulders and big boobs... I need structure and a v-neckline.

I'm going to be ludicrous. I took a liking to them for some reason that I may regret. But I won't have heels, cause I don't do heels. They probably make me look 4'3".

super low rise jeans for men where you can see pubic hair. Maybe I'm just having 1970s flashbacks with them. They called them "gaucho pants" at the time....

OOPS LOL that was supposed to be in response to tinaja's post about the short wide-legged pants.
But now I'm having this image of gauchos wearing pants that show their pubes & an giggling at my desk.

Another one that this fashion doesn't fit. Wide shoulders, big boobs - and short just to complete the picture. My big pet hate - stiletto's. Been there did that back in the 60's and have ruined my feet for ever and hem lengths. Too long it looks like my grandmothers nightie, too short and it shows my bony and scared knees. What ever happened to styles that stop just below the knee yet didn't need stilettos to look great.

had to google the cold shoulder thing - but yup, don't like them. I have a dress that is similar to a one-sleeve-dress, except that one side is just a shoulder strap and not a full sleeve, so hopefully that gets me off the hook with wombatrois! and, when talking about these short wide-legged pants, you mean culottes, right? have to admit I kinda like them, though I don't think they'd look good on me. still don't understand wearing leggings as pants. I mean, they are not pants. I get why people would want to wear them underneath dresses even if I don't like it but that's fine. and another one, men/women wearing track pants as regular pants. see it all the time with my students. just, no.

Now I am imagining men in them. It could be the new hipster trend from colored tight jean pants.

Hahahaha, that's really quite weird. With mom-jeans (kind of), no less. OK, to the extent that this is a trend, it can go now.
