I love Air Crash Investigation / Mayday.
And some other TV of that ilk: Massive Engineering Mistakes, Megastructures, anything about tunnels.

For years I watched MASH every day after work. It made me realise you can laugh at anything. My boss had an attack of that sort of laughter after school today! These days I record Escape to the Country and binge watch it.

Also any airport show and old episodes of Frasier (as long as it's not the ones with Daphne's family) and Gilmore Girls.
I would never seek them out, but if Ice Road Truckers or Outback Truckers is on I find myself watching the whole episode.
And Rick Stein travel/cookery shows.

They have to get their ships to port. Quite exciting apparently.

I'm currently binging 100% Hotter on netflix. And I've watched Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Miss Fisher and Offspring more often than I should admit to. And don't get me started on romcoms.
Some days you just want something you know you'll enjoy. And I'm a sucker for watching love stories, a total sucker.

Barefoot Contessa. She leads a charmed life and her food looks delicious (lots of butter and cream).

Feel-good films. Driving Miss Daisy, Teahouse Of The August Moon. The Mystery of Bel Air, The 100 Foot Journey, The Help. The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Agathe Christie stuff - Poirot and Miss Marple. British crime series. New Zealand's Brokenwood.
Magnum PI, Quincey ME, Murdoch Mysteries. Sadly these will all come to an end - Channel 13th Street ceases operating after December 31 this year.

I’m so sad to be losing both 13th Street and Syfy. Hope we get good replacements.

Ozzie, 13th Street is my favourite channel. I do like the old crime shows. Murder She Wrote - I forgot to write that one. Don't you just live the different expressions on Mrs Fletcher's face when she sees something, or someone?

I’m hoping 13 th Street doesn’t get replaced by E! 13th Street keeps showing awful ads of the Kardashians making animal noises on an island somewhere. That’s mindless tv.

some of the tcm themed days are wonderful they might show 3 versions of a single film - a star is born or feature a single director or actor

I'm a sucker for the Thin Man movies. Anything with Barbara Stanwyck or Gene Tierney I'll stop what I'm doing and watch.
But I'm not in charge of the remote so it's rare I'll see any of the above,

Gilmore Girls. I binge watched the entire history of it, including the awful new episode when Navy Boy was away for a few weeks.
Anything Disney or Pixar - I tend to go to films rather than TV programmes. I love dreadful crap like Twilight for escapism...

The Witcher was good for a cold winter weekend.

Hercule Poirot, but only the ones with David Suchet. Some reality TV - Project Runway is a fav, because I can admire what they do but also snark at some of the outfits
