Forgive misspellings. I'm writing a bio of her, am nearly finished "God of Small Things". Anyone remember reading a particularly good write up on her?

I dont I'm afraid but The God of Small Things holds a special place in my personal history - it was one of the entrance exam requirement reads when I applied for Uni back in '98. I still have my copy (and I got in) - and I've re-read it for pure entertainment purposes since as well!

I remember liking it, though some of it was creepy. I went to the backwaters of Kerala soon after reading it, and immediately was brought back to some of her descriptions.
I remember Soul Curry absolutely despised it, but I forget why.
I haven't really gotten into anything else she's written since. I have some of her political essays around here.
ETA - oops, I didn't really read what you were asking for. Sorry, no! But I bet you could find something online - didn't it win the Booker or something?

I did a quick search online when i got the commission, so i know she's been doing mostly non-fiction and essays lately, with one recent novel. I may ping Soul a message, she usually has interesting reasons for things.

Tell her I said hi! Soul, that is, not Arundhati Roy.
