That was a fantastic story. I'm amazed that the sculpture was so sturdy!

I do have to wonder what the driver was doing... he must have been going fairly fast to break the barrier.

In a Neil gaiman story, one of the passengers would have been a cabinet minister cutting arts funding, and the driver would have been the patron deity of sculptors...

I saw a dragonfly yesterday afternoon! I thought they were all gone for the winter, but there it was, zipping around the treetops.

They are also used to produce cube shaped excrement, which would probably stack very well if you had a mind to collect it.

Not really news, but on the animal theme, I am in tears after this. Language warning if you're in public;I'll be saying"fuck knuckle" all week. You can own a kangaroo without a permit in Wisconsin, apparently.

It's not just badgers - the BBC has a trove of articles about strange animals in grocery stores. But want I want to know is - how do you buy a pineapple in Aldi and not notice there's a snake on it? I mean, we're not talking about a tiny treefrog or a spider or something here: www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-40947807

I mean, we're not talking about a tiny treefrog or a spider or something here: www.bbc.com/news/uk-scotland-edinburgh-east-fife-40947807As someone who regularly buys pineapples from Aldi this caught my attention (and yes I've just examined the pineapple I have in my fruit bowl) Judging by that pic it doesn't look very big at all - the only place I can think of is the top of the pineapple, they sometimes take the inner leaves out which leaves a little hollow space you could squeeze into if you were a tiny snake.

While kind of funny... yikes! I wonder if they'll eventually have to be captured and/or culled...
