Here's what I have NOT bought today: purple leopard-print sneakers, though it was touch and go for a couple minutes there.

Today I bought a first aid kit, because I've learned that the organization I lead field trips for has a contract with the park service that requires leaders to carry a first aid kit, which I really should have been doing anyway. I hope no one needs it, though, because I'm kind of squeamish about body fluids
I also bought this large weirdly squishy rubber lizard, which I am going to mail to Spawn.

I don’t think I’ll be buying anything for the foreseeable future after getting the bill for the additional work the builder had to do to repair historical termite damage in the room he’s converting into a bathroom. It wasn’t visible until he removed the gyprock.

Lunch at a new Persian restaurant, with a friend.
Very extensive menu and an amazing food market next door. More varieties of flatbreads than I've ever seen in my life, not to mention jams & jellies, sweets, nuts, frozen dinners, etc! We'll be back.

Yesterday I bought yarn for two small projects. On reflection, a cocaine habit would be more economical. And easier to control.

A pair of white leggings with a lace flower strip on the outside leg near the hem for summer. They were 40% off.

A new battery for my car's key fob, because when I got in this morning the car started beeping and a warning light KEY BATTERY kept blinking on and off, so I figured it had better get dealt with.

$100 worth of groceries, 2 prescriptions and hotcakes from Maccas. I haven’t been in a supermarket for more than 2 weeks, and was running out of a few things.

Yesterday I bought yarn for two small projects. On reflection, a cocaine habit would be more economical. And easier to control. I went to my favourite wool store to buy one ball of self-striping sock wool... 80 euro later... I will have stripy sox and a beautiful dark green wrap in about that many weeks.

What I bought today: Quiche Cappuccino A slice of olive-oil-orange cake Liquor store run: beer, bourbon, rum Next: groceries
What I did not buy today: A copy of "Treacle Walker," which still is not appearing in the bookstore or library database despite it being on the Booker shortlist. Am I going to have to get it from Amazon?

For the first time in my life I'll be going out to buy a bra today.
Is 12B the same as 34b? Are underwires uncomfortable? I'm after comfort, not fashion.

groo, yes 34b=12b And underwires can be fine when the bra is new, but cause pain if they poke out. I’m not sure that someone size 12 b would need them.

For comfort, a sports bra could be the way to go. I hate underwires.
