For me, it was a pair of shoes. I had my eye on them for months now - since they first came in. Something made me go to the website, I went to “Sale”, there were 34 styles, put in my size, there were 26. There were two I liked but I went for the one I loved. A pair of sling backs, blackspeckled is what I wanted and yes! They had one pair only left in my size. Must have been popular. I was lucky, even though they were a bit more than I would have liked, seeing as how the original price was $169.95, I was happy to get them fifty dollars off. And yes, they were the last pair. Even accounting for the ten dollar delivery fee, I’m still a happy little Vegemite. These are my shoes. What have you been wanting and yearning for?

Today? lunch
Before that? Some wool to knit more socks - I've just about finished my first pair and now that I know what to do I want to knit more. The wool I've bought has nettle fibres added...
Next purchase might be some insulating curtains since temperatures are dropping and the cost of heating is likely to rise further over winter. Unless Putin dies and sense is restored.

nothing today so far, although I do intend to buy some coffee beans and wine later, and a jumpsuit type thing that littleM's friend has and she admired very obviously last night, to hold for her 12th birthday in ten days.

Nothing since Saturday evening, when my last purchase was a take-out Thai dinner.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, when the rain stops, I must finally go grocery shopping.
What I won't buy is a new battery for my radio remote. I took it out to find the code number, and when I put it back it was fine! I must've shaken some dust off the contacts while I was at it.

I bought a few things for my husband for our anniversary.. mostly small goodies he needs but a gift certificate for a Tilley hat (which he has coveted for some time) and a beautiful hand knit Cowichan (local First Nation) wool vest.

Nothing so far. Yesterday lunch at a pub (I felt like treating myself) and some spring bulbs that were on offer.
Today I'll try again to pay for a 2 day tour that's part of our trip to Brazil. Bank often flags transfers there!

Rain did stop, so I went grocery shopping and should now be OK through the weekend.
I then went to the one working salad bar nearby and bought enough salad for a good lunch.
The final purchase was a lobster roll and cup of lobster bisque from a food truck I've been following on line and was finally near me when I was free to get there. Tasty but pretty damn skimpy for the price. Well, I've satisfied my curiosity so no need to go again. What I had hoped would be a solid dinner turned into my 4pm-munchies snack. (FWP, piss-off, etc) I'll figure something else out around 7-8pm.

“Musick to Play in the Dark,” an unnerving album by Coil that I’d had in my Bandcamp wishlist for a while. They nudged me that maybe it’s time to pay for it since I’d listened to it a number of times.

I bought 2 vintage quilts. Really cheap. I see some kimono type jackets in them. One will need lots of stitching.

"The usual groceries" were kind of pricey! yow. Well ok there were a lot of big-ticket items on the list like nuts, vitamin D, olive oil and gelato.
