Got home this morning and opened my lovely NZ parcel! I am laughing because one of my aunt's accidentally threw out my travel mug; in the dark and her rush, it looked like a recyclable cup. And there, in the parcel, a gorgeous travel mug, same size as the one I lost! (and some candies I may have to share, as I seem to have 6 months worth of sweet stuff in the house.)

My parcel arrived the other day, complete with an excellent card. The decorations are very cute, and the sweets will be enjoyed.

I'm wondering if we actually need a reveal thread - most people seem to have a fairly good idea who their parcel came from!

Well, I always like to see who gave to who - just for interest really, but it's not compulsory!

Like Wombat, I like the reveal thread where your Santa is acknowledged and you can see who gave to who. Plus it rounds off the Christmas magic nicely. When we are children it’s all about the magic, the fact that some overweight fat jolly man will come down your chimney with a sack of toys over his shoulder to leave presents for you is exciting. As we grow older and beliefs change, some of the magic disappears and Christmas will never be the same again.
Having a Secret Santa each year brings back some of that magic, some of the fun of when we were children. When my parcel arrived, the Secret Santa had written their actual name on the bag. The bag has now been disposed of and I’ve forgotten whose name was on it, so yes, I would like a reveal please.

I have to admit that I didn't look carefully before I ripped the bag open, so I noticed the country but not the sender. And it's now stashed deep in a cupboard, holding lots of stuff, and I don't feel like bending at the angle required to see exactly who it's from.

To the person who sent me a parcel: Thanks! I have to figure out who you are (saved the address but haven't looked closely at it). It arrived on the 3rd, so I saved it for my birthday 7th. And even then, drama was going on and I couldn't really get a close look at everything. I'm kind of bummed that I couldn't put up the ornaments, but next time for sure! And I've also started scarfing the chocolate because, well, chocolate cures home drama?

Very excitedly, today I received my parcel from Santa Claus in Canada, which my delighted Postie pointed out on the customs label!
I can't believe how much you've packed into the parcel - gloves, tea towel, hot chocolate, a bar of chocolate, shopping bag, plus a cookbook, magnet and all sorts of other goodies! The box is gorgeous and a fab size for my desk bits so it'll be in daily use.
Thank you very much indeed and Merry Christmas! 🎅
