We just got back from the Dolomites, where MrSnow and 2 off-spring had a go at skiing for the first time, and I tried to remember how to do it.
I was saying to MrSnow over lunch today, that if we manage to go back again, by the end of another week:
Child1 will be trying to go down backwards on one ski (for the lolz), Child2 will be tumbling about, giving it a go and getting up smiling saying she's fine (tough cookie), MrSnow will be making sure that by the end of the week he's ski-ed everything he's capable of, preferably twice, and I will be asking 'does nobody else want to get the technique right?'.

I don’t know anything about skiing, but that sounds amusing and like you had fun!

Where in the Dolomites were you? That's one of my favourite places in the world.

Child2 could have her own tv/tiktok show She's campaigning to have a YouTube channel. I'm saying no. Understandable and probably the right parenting decision. However I'm ready to subscribe the day you relent.
