Help. I have fallen inta a ryanair charge-you-a-fortune-trap. Does anyone have experience with misspelled names on ryanair boarding cards. I checked and double checked the passport number, but I didn't see that I had doubled one letter in my last name. Like this Ms U nnderstood. So it's not a big wrong, nor is it a normal spelling of said name. So do I: - pretend I haven't seen it?
- bite bullet and pay extra for calling land line and fee for changeing or
- get a brand new ticket?
And btw, it shouldn't be possible to put a name in that box with a different spelling without a warning coming up. imho.

Pretend you haven't seen it. I booked flights for myself and a friend and only after security when we were at the gate did we notice I'd spelt her name wrong (like you - an extra n). We said nothing, walked wih confidence and the hostess never noticed or check. Was all fine.

Thanks. I was thinking just that. The funny thing is that if I wanted to change the name (before checking in that is) the fee is 110 €... so how come it's possible to do it by mistake?

I called the airport, and the lady said they allow you one wrong letter! Yay! No problem at all if it doesn't change pronunciation!

Do you have check in bags?
My theory is that if you bags are on the plane they are not going to stop you for something minor as it would delay the flight.
