Brunch

I'm going out for brunch today. I love brunch! It saves having to worry about lunch and tides you over nicely until supper time.

How many of you still do brunch? What sort of thing do you have for brunch?

I'm going to have eggs benedict with grilled portobello mushrooms!

I love brunch, but rarely get to go out for brunch. (And in my head it's not brunch of you do it at home - then it's just late breakfast).

I enjoy brunch, but don't do it all that often as the whole get showered and dressed and go out before food thing is just too hard some days!

People seem to brunch more in Melbourne, I have no idea why, but my FB feed is full of Melbourne brunches at the weekend. And we found when we were down there that loads of cafes close at 3 pm.

Anyway, I will be going out to brunch with a friend tomorrow - well, I plan to eat, she may just go for coffee. This place does some very good chorizo and egg combos which I usually order, and it is a great brunch food. At another place we used to go to sometimes you can't go past their egg and bacon roll - sometimes the simplest things are the best!

Otherwise, like hobo, I'm a fan of eggs benedict.

I had Eggs Florentine in the end and it was perfect!

I am bringing back the brunch, single handedly ;o)

I had the chorizo roll with egg, cheese, tomato and the cafe's own aioli, plus a pot of Sydney Special tea.
Bliss.

i love brunch, likely because i can't get breakfast down me.
i like the full range; eggs, bacon, croissants, salads, steaks... bit of everything.
