What are your favorite snacks? How often do you snack? Do you prefer crunchy, chewy, sweet, or savory snacks?

I'm a huge fan of savoury, but do love a sweet snack on occasion. I LOVE salt though, fortunately BP always been very good and low if anything, but still trying to cut down on it!!
I make my own munchy seeds - bag of mixed seeds, dry toasted in a frying pan, then add a splash of soy sauce and a sprinkle of seat salt. Allow to cool and munch!
Also a huge fan of rice cakes with vegemite or low fat cream cheese.
Sweet wise I'm a little addicted to Tiffin lately, even though I despise raisins!!

I snack constantly.
Some of my favorites: Cereal. The guys at work laugh at me, but I pack a serving of cereal in a small container and bring that to work as a snack. My favorite two cereals are Cheerios or Kashi Cinnamon Harvest. Easy to eat when stuck in the car at work, needs no refrigeration or preparation. Unsweetened Kamut cakes (similar to rice cakes but from a different grain) with Laughing Cow cheese on them. Wasa or Ry-Krisp crackers with Laughing Cow cheese. There's always an apple or a banana in my work car.
I don't do many sweet snacks, but from my list above I'd have to say I like crunchy ones.

What are your favorite snacks? How often do you snack? Do you prefer crunchy, chewy, sweet, or savory snacks? - rock hard cheeses, dried mango, beef jerky, jamon serrano (a spanish ham), fruits...
- usually when i drink something. e.g. beer: savoury snacks, wine: dead cheese
- preferably chewy and savoury. i don't have a sweet tooth. actually, sugar makes me nauseated.
there's no beef jerky here. i used to get it air mailed from Vancouver (BC). i did send many many bags of yak jerky home whilst backpacking in China

What are your favorite snacks? Salted banana chips, spiced/salted roasted lentils of different kinds, bread or crackers with something spicy or savoury. How often do you snack? At tea-time. If I've had an early breakfast and find myself peckish at 11 am, I might snack then. Rarely happens. Do you prefer crunchy, chewy, sweet, or savory snacks? Crunchy and savoury. I am not a huge fan of sweet stuff for snacking purposes (though I love it for dessert).

MacNut's spiced/salted roasted lentils sound really good. Wonder if something like that exists here.
I rarely eat snacks (not counting stuff that co-workers bring to celebrate birthdays and holidays), but prefer savory and crunchy. Nuts mostly. I love potato chips, but try not to have those around to often because there's nothing healthy about them.

I love snacks - mostly savoury but I do enjoy mixing sweet and savoury at times. My favourite one right now is hummus or baba ganoush on a whole wheat tortilla with veggies all rolled up. Yum!

Chocolates and chips. And cake/pie. Not generally a snack person though- I prefer to eat proper meals 6 times a day haha (just in smaller portions).

i snack through my day, pretty much. i try to take a couple of large fruit to work as a snack, but also keep the dried stuff on hand.
i prefer savoury--my teeth have become sensitive to sugar. popcorn smothered in butter with some salt and spice is my downfall. i've developed an addiction to cumin, or any spice mix contianing it.
i discovered dried broad beans here, and like those with seasoning. i love chunky tortilla chips with yoghurt (i mix in spice) or hummous, but cn usually stop after a half dozen. this something i take to work for mid afternon, and it has saved my sanity many times. hte chips are tasty and crunchy, and the hummous fills up so fast, without being heavy.

I love savory snacks but I try not to snack because it's out of boredom and that's a habit I'm trying to get out of. When trying to be good I snack on fruit ie one banana between meals for example or a few nuts. Otherwise I try to avoid snacking.

ah. my snacks are a pre-determined part of my daily food intake. i know i will be hungry at 11, so i plan what i'll eat then. i know i'll be hungray by 3, so when i plan lunch i remember to not eat too much. i wish i could eat enough in the morning to not eat until noon--i hate those people--but it's not going to happen so may as well have something healthy to munch on.
