Calling All Kiwis!

Mr.W and I will be arriving in Auckland on Feb. 1 and spending most of the month in your fair land! We'll be on an escorted tour. I've already been in touch with a few people and would love to meet more. So far, we're free on Saturday evenings in Auckland Feb. 2 and in Wellington Feb. 9. After that we head for the South Island. It would be great to get together for drinks or dinner and conversation. Our sightseeing is all taken care of.

We're leaving two weeks from today! PM me if you're around, let me know where you are, and we'll see what works.

While I'm at it - any advice on packing? How warm/cool will it be towards the end of the summer? Is there a wide range of weather from north to south?

It'll be pretty warm - we generally get our most settled weather in Feb and March.
That being said last weekend it was about 27 degrees and 70% humidity and sunny but today we've had a high of 21 and it's been raining on and off.
So with packing - mainly expect it to be warm (especially coming from winter) but best bring a jumper and a water proof jacket
