A friend stumbled upon these fancy pant yogurts. Blue Hill is a farm to table restaurant here in NY and their farm, Stone Barns, is near my brother's in Westchester. It's very green. Needless to say, she ate the yogurt as one would eat any regular, out of the cup, yogurt and was, to put it mildly, grossed out. I could imagine using these to add to cooking but not really as just plain old eating yogurts. I'm guessing they cost quite a bit as they're only available at Whole Paycheck. Would you eat these, just as yogurt?

Nope. I'd probably use them drizzled over a salad or roast spuds, or as you say in cooking
And maybe for posh baby food.

That looks very weird. I could see it as a vegetable dip. Not so much for eating out of the cup.

Oh yes, easy dip when you can't be arsed making one. Though it is fairly easy to make dips.....

I never buy individual yogurts - I buy plain and then flavor it and carry it in a little mason jar - but IF I were going to buy one, I would, yes! Blue Hill/ Stone Barns are among my favorite restaurants in the world so I think anything they make would be wonderful, weird or not. I'd get the parsnip... i am crazy about parsnips.
I haven't seen these at our Who Foo, though... Must be a NYC thing.

I totally read that as ''savoy'' yogurt then and was wondering who on earth needed a recipe for cabbage yogurt!

I guess some of the 'sweet' veggie ones would work, but something like tomato-yoghurt sounds more like a pasta sauce base to me.
