we were on our way through the airport parking lot; i was about to fly to russia. (irl, an ambition)
i suddenly began crying and panicking--i didn't have my passport. i was so upset i woke up.
again, irl, everyone in our building had to give in passports for immigration processing, and as two families were late-and then took ages completing the forms--i've been over a week with no passport and was really not comfortable. have just learned that they are all done and i'll have mine tonight!

I get those - I realize my flight is taking off in 10 minutes, and I'm still at the office and I don't have my luggage, etc. I think it's the traveler's version of those student dreams where you haven't studied for an exam.
Phew re your RL passport! Thst would make me really nervous.

i have travel dreams sometimes. they're really strange or make no sense. sometimes it's the same place(s) again but i dont know where exactly. usually i either (almost) miss my flight/boat/train, or......... -roll drum-.... forget my passport ;D
and i've actually missed flights a couple of times (now this is not fun, AND expensive.).

I often have dreams where I board on a wrong plane, and it takes me to a totally different place, that I miss my plane (happened to me recently irl), that I don´t have my lugagge etc.
Pretty disturbing.

I used to have one where my favourite lagoon was more like a maze. Haven't had it for ages, though.

i had one where i would be walking down a street, maybe in saint petersburg, then i would open a door & it would be a beach.

Ha!! I am currently travelling in Bali and I had a dream the other night about making oatmeal. I am clearly missing my 'real' life!!!

i often dream about being late--happens a lot to me and it really stresses me out. but in the dreams, impossible things keep stopping me and all i can think is, 'no one will believe why i'm late.'
