In the weekend I sometimes cook something special for breakfast - as opposed to the toast and run out the door approach of the week.
So this morning I will be making blueberry pancakes, and serving them with fancy Bulgarian yoghurt from the health food shop. If they look OK I may even post a pic.
What's your favourite breakfast?

Same as crazycat - smoked salmon eggs benedict if we're out, pancakes if we're at home.

Depends, normally I like savory: eggs, sausages, baked beans. Or yogurt with fruit, nuts and a little bit of honey. Nowadays I seem to have a sweet tooth. This morning I made Indonesian martabak, very thick pancakes with peanuts, chocolate chips and sweet milk folded together served with butter.

Indian breakfast is my favorite - idlees and sambar or even better upma and coconut chutney and ripe mangoes. Bring me a truckload of this, please.
I do love pancakes, though, but I am extremely picky about them - they must be thin with crispy edges and lots of good butter and real (preferably grade B) maple syrup. And some nice bacon would be lovely. Thank you.
I love breakfast.

What I'd like is 2 fried eggs over, American bacon, sausage patty, blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup (also on the bacon and sausage), German fries (fried potatos with onion, green pepper, and ham bits), and grits. What I'll have is porridge.

Currently have three rashers of thick cut smoked bacon in the pan. Debating whether to go for bacon and eggs or a bacon sandwich with thick white bread and a touch of brown sauce.

I'm not a good breakfast eater though I do better on the weekend (well, sometimes). i also can't be bothered cooking something special for breakfast when it's just me....
favourites. hmmm. I like English breakfast with the eggs, tomatoes, bacon etc etc. but other than that..... not my meal I think.

I usually go for a fried egg and toast. Or some bacon deliciousness. Occasionally I'll do a pancake thingy, or something like that.
I might go for a breakfast out tomorrow.

Just came back from buying bacon! This is all your fault. You can thank me later. I have made celeriac soups for dinner and it's goooooood. But it would be superb with a couple of crispy rashers of bacon arranged chefily on top.

I like a full english sometime - but only as a kind of brunch at weekends. tends to sit in my tummy like a stone though afterwards!
Favourite at home - fresh croissants with rose hip jam - never found it in the UK so am still buying loads when at home! Also love lemon pancakes but I'm crap at making them.
When I visit my family it's the real deal - croissants, different types of breadrolls and prezels, with assorted cold cuts and pate...yum.

During the week it's vegemite on a bagel much to the amusement/disgust (delete as appropriate) of the other people in the office.
Back in the coupled up days I used to make the other half brekkie in bed every Saturday (in retrospect I dunno why I bothered) but since then I couldn't really be arsed making anything flash for myself.
Last weekend I may have had company so for the first time in months I had smoked salmon on cream cheese bagels with a couple of capers. It's not the best I can do but then again, you don't want to set the bar too high too soon.....

Vegemite and butter bagel consumed.
I did leave my Vegemite in the office kitchen while I wandered off and did some other stuff......came back to the comment from someone in HR "I knew you were around by the Vegemite".

When I'm feeling very fancy I'll make a spinach gruyere fritata that is just heavenly.
This morning (and inspired by this thread): mushrooms, scrambled eggs and grilled feta drizzled with chili oil and thyme. mmmm
