Cos or iceberg salad arrived in my Aussie Farmers Direct veggie box. I find lettuce quite boring.
Do you like it and if so that do you do with it?

I love lettuce. I eat it in salads, I also love lining a wrap with lettuce, then adding all the other ingredients before rolling.
Wedges of iceberg with dressing are good.
I'm not a fan of cooked iceberg a la the chinese way, but you could try that (or peas with lettuce the french way).
You can use it as a wrapping for sang chow bow (sp) or use it as a scoop for any number of dips, including a Thai jaew (we had a yummy tamarind one last night).
That should get rid of it for you.

I love it in salads or added to sandwiches/wraps/buns. Hooray for salad season.

Mixed (gourmet) lettuce mix is less boring, providing colour and texture. I buy it loose, not pre-packed. I like red oak and butter lettuce. The red/purple is my favourite.

I dislike iceberg and romaine and other bland lettuce, but love arugula, mâche, baby spinach, baby kale, etc... Things with flavor. A mixture of baby spinach, mâche, and arugula makes a lovely salad.

I love lettuce but not really a fan of either of those mentioned. I would have Cesar salad with the cos and a tossed salad with the iceberg.
