So, over the years I've gotten in to the habit of arriving at work early and having breakfast there - I'm not really one for being able to eat first thing in the morning. Coffee first. Food later.
Thing is that it's against company policy to have cereal/porridge at my desk (it's mainly to stop the call centre people doing that in the huge open plan bit but one rule for all) which means I've also gotten in to the habit of having a bacon roll for brown sauce for breakfast every day (although I did have a bacon and black pudding roll with chili sauce on Friday.......that was good).
Do any of you prep brekkie in advance, and if so, what do you have?

For years I had either yoghurt and fruit, or porridge and fruit and read the paper after a short commute to work. Now I start 2 hours later at the civil hour of 7.30 so eat at home.

I'm in the coffee camp for breakfast I'm afraid, quite often I don't eat til I have lunch (around 12:00 usually) or a piece of fruit around 10:00 if I'm hungry earlier. I just can't face breakfast first thing, but even if I do I'll be equally as hungry later on (if not even more so) so I find there's no point!

Porridge in winter, fruit and yoghurt with granola in the summer. I always eat at my desk, otherwise I'll never eat anything.
It's going to be a question I ask of the new boss when I speak to her this week - whether breakfast is acceptable at the desk or not!

coffee first, food later. i try to get some liquids in, so have juice and milk as well. i have been using smoothies--a smoothie of yoghurt, berries, and tofu is a lot easier than those things whole on a plate. i'm on a budget at the moment, so have replaced tofu with oats. i make a batch one evening, and for the next 2-3 days i add milk in the morning and have a glass. (hope that's clear).
around 10.30 i need something like a banana.

If I have breakfast, Im hungry all day long. So I skip it, and have a small snack around 10:00.

Hmmm....
I have two breakfasts, the first one at home - porridge in cold weather - the second one at work - usually fruit and yoghurt.
I'm sure it's partly what you're used to, but if I didn't eat I'd be fainting and/or biting everyone's head off by the time I'd been at work three or four hours.

I have to take medicine in the morning that requires me not to eat for an hour. I don't have enough time to make a breakfast before work so I have breakfast at work. And I like to change things up, some days oatmeal, some days a bagel with cream cheese, some days an egg sandwich, some days a bacon sandwich, some days cereal and some days yogurt.
Variety... it's the breakfast of life.

Yeah, the whole no cereal or hot food at desks rule does make breakfast at work pretty awkward. I wonder how a Spanish omelette would work if I prepped it the night before.
Not that I'm a creature of habit or anything but Saturday morning is my usual bacon roll day - I do get a few dirty looks swanning in to the gym I teach at Saturday mornings with a bacon roll and black coffee in my hand.
I'm not a great role model instructor at times (well, not in the sense that I'm *supposed* to be).

I make my own muesli and have that with fruit and yoghurt. Another thing I do in winter is a one egg omelette with steamed vegies. I'm trying to avoid toast every day, but do give in sometimes.
I just bought a jar of kaya so I guess I'll have to break out the toast at some stage!
