Hey, all you lot that went to the Paris pissup last fall - what were the good hotels that you stayed in?
One of my employees is going to be in Paris at the end of March/beginning of April and is looking for recommendations. She is travelling with her sister so they're looking for rooms with two beds. They are expecting high prices, but since they may have to go over their budget in London it wouldn't hurt if they had a reasonably priced place in Paris.
Thanks in advance!

This is where I stayed during the Great Paris Pissup www.hotel-paris-marais.com/I loved it, loved the location. So easy to get to and charming. Lots of places to eat, not overly expensive.

Thanks very much to all of you! They all look really good - I'll forward the links to my coworker.

I stayed here www.accorhotels.com/gb/hotel-2175-mercure-paris-centre-tour-eiffel/index.shtmlgreat walking out of the hotel and seeing the Eiffel tower, nice and peaceful area, both train stations a block away. bus stop at the end of the street. loads of cafes nearby. lovely rainshower shower - could have spent the weekend in the shower. free wifi. a negative - the food was crap, well I did only eat breakfast there but it was extremely average, if it wasn't part of the deal I would have gone out for breakfast after the first morning.

I can't for the life of me remember the name of the hotel I stayed, but it was round the corner from CakeMonkey's and also very nice, reasonably priced and well-located. Will have to go back through my emails and see if I can find the name

The el dorado was fun - love the food in the bistrot downstairs.

I gave her all the links and told her a bit about the locations and what was nearby - don't know which one she'll choose, but they all looked good. Thanks again.
(She's now wishing she had more time there, as her list of things to do is already too long for the <3 days she has.)
