No pressure next weekend then.

Now the question is do I get up at 4am with the rest of the country and watch it live or do I do what I did this week and record it and watch it at a civilised hour?

We are thinking we might actually get up for the final. If TEB does, then I don't really have an option but to get up cos there's no way he'll be able to keep the result secret till I've watched it delayed.

Just had lunch with an Aussie friend who mentioned something about "are you watching the competition on Saturday?"
I'd forgotten about it...
Where do I go to return my passport?

Yeah!
Not that I watched or did anything useful. World's worst supporter.

I had one of the gym regulars who is a kiwi waiting by the studio to have a chat (cough cough) about the rugby this morning. I'd like to think I was a gracious loser.
I did try and play "World in Union" for the Combat cooldown to try and get a bit of a rugby theme in there. I'm sure it's just coincidence that the iPod died completely about a minute in and flatly refused to start up again - much to class's amusement.

I've done my bit for promoting rugby to heathen civilisations - after rabbiting on about it at the pub over the last few days, the pub actually put the final on live on the big screen yesterday - German Eurosport was showing it. They had about 50 people in the pub, most of whom had never heard of rugby or seen a game before. Apparently everyone had a great time. If only I'd known they were doing that - me and my friends were home here across the road, watching it on ITV player. It would have been so much fun to have been with the locals! Still, my work as a rugby ambassador is done!

lots of tired kiwis today, regardless of whether they're hungover or not... Unlike TodL, I didn't get to have a three hour nap in the middle of the day yesterday.
