Years ago the Memsahib used to make yoghurt, and good stuff it was too, but that was in the days when we used to get our milk directly from friends who had milking cows - a practice that extended over some 20 years. These days we are obliged to purchase our milk from supermarkets.
Last week she again tried her hand at making yoghurt and the result was total failure. We saved the day by converting the resultant mess into a form of custard, but we are wondering what sort of processed milk (it's all that we can get these days) is best for making yoghurt.
