Quick query: if I cook two fillets today, and eat one, for how long is the other one OK if kept in the fridge?
I'll prob eat it tomorrow at lunch time anyway...

I have eaten it 2-3 days later as it smelled ok.

3 or 4 days should be fine, surely? I'd not think twice about the day after tomorrow.

I wouldn't go beyond 48 hours,so not unto a third day.
Same with chicken.
But, that's just my own thing.
