It's the end of summer, beginning of autumn ....
.... Fig Jam ;D
I took some to this afternoon's foodie get together - after making some scones to go with it, and consensus was thumbs up.
I also made some baked figs stuffed with gorgonzola and wrapped in prosciutto. Yum.

Yum, I need some fig ideas after Mr Stripey accidentally stole a bag of figs on the weekend. The cashier put the figs though first, then put them aside on the counter to pack them last so they didn't get squashed (or so MrS thought). After everything had been put through he noticed his bag of figs (or so he thought) still sitting on the counter, so he popped them in his shopping bag. Gets home - two bags of figs.
I'm sure fig + guilt jam will taste sour though.
