Younger daughter is heading to Portugal next year for a wedding. (Friendship made on a Contiki tour and they are paying for a couple of nights accommodation). \
Anyway, after suggestions of 'must do' and 'don't waste your time' and anything else in between.
thanks all

San Sebastian!
Lisbon!
Porto!
Depends how long she has. I loved the north-west corner of Portugal (the Portuguese Way), but you need to spend more than a day there.

how long is she there? i suppose you could spend months in each country ... in portugal i liked lisbon and porto, too, and also the vila do geres region and the serra da estrela for hiking. in spain i was mainly in andalusia, the grazalema region is very pretty for hiking, and while sevilla and cordoba and granada get a lot of tourists, i think they are still worthwhile at least for a bit ...

thanks Rikita, she will have around 2-3 weeks to travel around. Partner wants to go for 2 weeks, she has got him to 3 weeks but now wants 4.
Suggested she do a full, this is what I want to do itinerary then shave it back to a suitable timeframe
