I now have my two major trips locked in. Group tour with friends, Milan to Munich 2-11 September, and Hurtigruten cruise of Norwegian fjords, 19 - 30 September. We will be able to travel out of Munich after 2 pm Friday 11th September. I’m looking at catching a train to Berlin, and staying for 3 or 4 nights, then getting a train to Copenhagen for 4 days. I need to get to Bergen by the afternoon of Saturday 19th, as cruise departs in the evening. I’m thinking flying would be easiest, as train would mean a change in Oslo, and there are 5 flights a day. I fly out of Oslo on the afternoon of Sunday 4th October, so, as cruise arrives on Wednesday afternoon, I’m thinking overnight in Bergen, then 3 nights in Oslo, travelling there by train, as it appears to be an interesting trip. Any suggestions, advice or possible meetups? Hopefully, some people will be available to meet up on the weekend I’m in Berlin. Is anyone near Copenhagen, Bergen or Oslo? Or Dubai, where I have a 3-day stopover on the way home.

Funny - I was just talking about the Hurtigruten cruise earlier today! My parents did it a few years and loved it.

Just reading this now haha... but... the executives of Hurtigruten knowingly and willingy imported corona-infected foreign workers this past summer. And denied and tried to hide it. And then blame the workers for not getting themselves tested in their home countries.

Wow! I heard about the outbreak on their first Arctic cruise since COVID started. I still have a deposit credit with them, valid until the end of 2021!
