We got take out for lunch at one of the top restaurants in our region. It was very delicious and I was very glad I wasn’t paying the bill. Oh, and I had the halibut as my main. Love it.

Those cookies sound so much better in Spanish.
I had a lovely smoked salmon sandwich from the French bakery by the volunteer shop, but what I'd really wanted was a massive grilled cheese sandwich--that place was just too busy for my hunger.

today was meat pies, one steak and stout, one bolognese with cheddar. Yum. Also had some collar bacon with hummus on toast. I don't know where this bacon has been all my life. it's the perfect marriage between streaky bacon and back bacon. |
