Sliced chicken breast, avocado, tomato, cheese, spinach and lettuce with a drizzle of mayonnaise on fresh sourdough bread.
A medium sized cappuccino. It’s on its way as we speak!

Lunch was delicious. Not only did it taste wonderful, it is also healthy and very filling. Cappuccino is good too. Glad I went for the larger size. Ahhhhhh ….. I’m all set for the day now.

Very boring, my lunch is pretty much the same every day - breadroll or sourdough bread with some cold cuts or pate (ham, salami liver pate or similar german stuff) with pickled gherkins.
Food variations happen at dinner (main meal).

Ooh, Vegemite on toast sounds good. But the toast must be cold. Although I rarely buy white bread, I do find Vegemite is uncommonly good on white toast.
Lunch was a ham and cheese croissant.

For some reason I didn’t feel like my usual Asian takeaway after doing the shopping, so I tried a McDonald’s McCrispy, with NO sauce, so it was a bun, a crispy chicken piece and some lettuce. But it was definitely better without the yucky mayonnaise-based sauce, which makes everything soggy.

The last time I went to a McDonald's was in 1978; I suppose I should go back there once more before my demise. Ironically (or something), it was on the site of where they built my current office building.
I'm having lunch up at my mom's place, so it'll be whatever's on at their cafeteria thing today.
