Is there a more pointless sport than shooting? Being as it's the only one I'm remotely competent in, I'd say yes! My brother was on the Scottish National team at one point. It's arguably a skill rather than a sport though. I'll concede that it's not the most fun to watch. But then again, F1 is only fun when things go wrong, so... |

Yes! As much as I wanted NZ to win the gold means way more to Fiji - especially right now.
Emma Tigg just won gold in the single skulls - she's been 4th in the last two olympic finals

The cycling omnium event is mental and seems to include the cycling equivalent of musical chairs.
In saying that the silver medalist from NZ was the reserve and only raced in the event because the original guy broke his clavicle in an accident in a team event last night.
