Going to the pantry just now for coffee and to put away some tea, I realised I have 400 Irish Breakfast Tea Bags, 150 English breakfast tea bags, 100 Peppermint tea bags 50 Earl Grey tea bags.
29 Cappuccino coffee sticks, 30 Mocha sticks
A bottle of Courvoisier Cognac Bottle of St. Agnes brandy (cheap stuff for emergencies) Bottle of Angostura aromatic bitters bought somewhere overseas.
Anything interesting in your pantry? What pearls of glorious foodstuffs do you have hiding away in a darkened cupboard?

I have the staples in our pantry (like flour, sugar, pasta, oatmeal, quinoa, several varieties of beans and lentils, raisins, figs, dates, etc) and then the special stuff. Two types of balsamic vinegar, raspberry champagne vinegar, two types of candied ginger, 4 types of oil (avocado, grape seed and 2 types of olive).. a small jar of hot, hot chili oil .. condensed milk (necessary for Vietnamese coffee!) Japanese soup flavourings, vanilla…and all the canned goods like canned tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, canned salmon and tuna. I also store potatoes, onions and our instant pot in there.

I’m currently staying in a house with two giant fridges and an enormous pantry. It has practically anything you could imagine. We did a little explore this evening. The problem is the stove is so complicated, I’m not attempting to use the oven at all. I’ll try the cooktop tomorrow night for the first time. Wish me luck.

There’s a block of Nestles peppermint dark chocolate added to the pantry. There would have been two bars of Cadbury peppermint twin and a bag of Lindt peppermint balls but I ate them last night.

Pretty much the same as last year except I've been cleaning out and replacing the spices. Today I dumped some ancient curry powder and replaced it with a garam masala mix.

I have a few things which don’t get much use but when needed, it’s great. An example from today is rose water… I used it in the quince ginger jam I was making. I use it a few times a year in fruit salads .. not much else.

I have a habit of buying things abroad (spice mixes, flavoured risotto rice etc) with all good intentions, then throwing them out three years later when they expire.

That reminds me that we have one of those sealed pouch channa masala things in the pantry that probably should be pitched. I used to like them but went off them at some point.
