Last night I really fancied an ice cream sundae, but I discovered my children had eaten all the caramel sauce. Vanilla ice cream with raspberries just wasn't as nice.

This can really only be posted here.
I only brought one bra with me on holiday (it's actually the only one that fits) and I just tore it down the front and centre putting it on. Now I have to travel (quite significantly) lopsided.

In the same vein:
I only brought one bra on my trip, but the straps show in the only dress I packed.

The laundry machines in the basement take a special "laundry card". Mine isn't working. To get a new one you need to put in a $10 bill. I only have a $20.
Guess who couldn't do laundry today.

Add mine to the finger slice category: I keep slicing my fingers open on the foil on the top of my wine bottle! don't bother. if you're using a corkscrew, just push it through the foil. it'll all come off with the cork, and is far less painful.

I miss corks, it's just not the same with a stelvin cap (but boy is it quick to get into the wine).

If you're using a bartenders corkscrew, use the little knife to slice around the foil and pull off in one swift motion before decorking - much simpler.

After being very busy for weeks I should have taken the time today to do laundry. But I didn't and spent most of it sleeping. Now I might call in sick tomorrow because I have nothing to wear.
