I pulled out an older pair of headphones that have foam over the ears. I wore them to the gym. Not until I got into the car driving away did I realize they had disintegrated leaving a big smear of black over my ears and face...gaaaaa. Ha. I've had another set die on me but as it's been a little bit busy around here lately and I a) get a 30 minute lunch break and b) the nearest big shopping centre is 30 minutes away I've not done anything about replacing them so have been walking around for 4 days with music in one ear and a dead earphone thingy in the other. I know there's Amazon but since someone pointed out that with the main job and freelance one that I pay more tax than they do (relatively speaking) I've stopped using them.....

How do you keep a magnum of champagne chilled? I'm not sure it'll fit in the fridge

How do you keep a magnum of champagne chilled? I'm not sure it'll fit in the fridge 1) You can keep it on its side as long as it's unopened. or 2) Set up an ice-bucket a couple of hours ahead of when you intend to drink it.

The batteries in my tv remote are flat.
I don't know how to change channel or even turn it off without the remote.

q, get a toddler around. we had no idea where the manual power switch was on our tv, but a 15 month old figured it out in about 2 minutes. (bottom right, behind the screen)

Sadly Brodie is very much lazy.com right now...... Today's first world problem is I don't think I have anything to do for NYE. Staying in and sitting on my arse wouldn't be too sad would it?

Absolutely fantastic idea of mine to wash the car for christmas - now I can't find it in the car park - too clean and shiny.

Absolutely fantastic idea of mine to wash the car for christmas - now I can't find it in the car park - too clean and shiny. silver lining in all the snow we've been having: Brushing the snow off the car takes the dirt with it! So the car looks nice and clean for a minute in the driveway until it gets out into the road-spray. (Commentary, not a problem, apologies.)
