Dr Who! I even got up to watch it early thanks to LC.
Plus, going on holidays soon. the fact I have a feverish head cold could make the drive interesting, but the holiday will be worth it.

I've just watched the Doctor Who 50th special. That makes me happy So, remind me what sort of suit David Tennant wore as the Doctor? I do have a soft spot for a nice suit....... I watched the 50th first thing this morning and went to see it in 3D at the movies - lots of fez's, bowties and tweed jackets, and long multicoloured scarves. David Tennant wore one of two pinstripe suits - a brown one and a blue one - he wore red trainers with the blue suit and white trainers with the brown one. He also has a long brown coat which was given to him by Janis Joplin and the brainy specs. I love David Tennant - I'd totally run away with him.

Matt Smith fan here. Going to miss him heaps!
Last night's show was brilliant though!
Hoping Peter Capaldi plays a swoony Dr though and doesn't try to be like the other two as it might not work.

Two things for me today:
1. After a day of storms yesterday, the weather was beautiful today for our dragon boat competition
2. My women's team made their first ever final today! We bombed in the actual final bur recorded the second fastest time of the day in our second heat which is unheard of for us as we are pretty new to this. We were all so excited and happy!

I do love Matt Smith's Doctor and I've only been watching since 2010 so he's my Doctor - but I do fancy David Tennant. This'll be my first Regeneration in real time which is quite exciting and I am looking forward to see what Capaldi does with the role.

just dropped the car at the garage, and they gave me a lift home, not to the bus stop. saved me waiting in the cold and walking 1.5 miles in the cold and 45 minutes ofmy life.

I'll be sleeping on a plane tonight, instead of a bed. I'm not sure if I'm entirely happy about that but sorta.

the ride to work wasn't near as cold as yesterday, and i managed to snag one of the last bacon rolls from the work canteen. this means i'm no longer looking at colleagues as a potential food source.

Flying home! Looking forward to hugs and kisses from my hubbie, and being licked to death by the puppy. The cat will ignore me for a couple of days!

Happy that I gave a good lesson to my Yr 7s today and got some great feedback from the teacher observing - had quite a rough week this week and was getting ready to chuck it all in to go stack shelves in Tesco, so it was the boost I needed.
Bag is all packed for Prague, and as I don't have any work to do for school this evening, EGB is taking me out for dinner (just to a local Italian chain but they do yummy food and we'll have some nice wine)
