Nice and warm? Wet and windy? Jolly cold or brass monkey weather? In my neck of the woods it's a scorcher - 41° at present and it's only half past twelve!
If anyone would like a free sauna, make your way to my place - just sit down and relax. Guaranteed to get the sweat running and pores cleaned.
Christmas Day is looking like another hot day. And to think the temp. only reached 14.5° Christmas 2006! Our South Australian cousins are doing it tougher than us - the poor sods have 44°.

Too freaking hot out here at my mum's. Currently 35C according to the weather app. Thank goodness her car is airconditioned for the journey out to my MIL's place later today.

34°C here right now (1350). Mr W is out for the day. The kids are having a movie marathon in the cool of the house. Days like this I'm so glad we have evaporative cooling.

30 degrees and only 70% humidity. Blissful compared to the usual 35 degrees and 80%

About 32C. I walked to the shops earlier - I can usually handle the dry heat and there isn't much humidity today at all. But the air con in Woolies didn't seem to be working, so I didn't really enjoy the walk back as I hadn't cooled down while doing the quick shop.

Supposed to be 14 degrees today - way too warm for December. It hasn't been below zero at all and that is weird.

have no idea what the temp is at the moment - been raining and it is cloudy, a bit of lightening around which isn't good with all the dry grass. A few fires nearby but not close enough for us to worry about. Think there is enough paddocks with nothing in them for us to be safe.
new air conditioner is bliss and for some reason the hot one has been happy without turning the house into a freezer.
Will be heading out later to the cricket clubs break up, hope it is warm enough to be just right outside having a drink or two.

41 here and it's like being under a hairdryer. It was bearable until the sun came out. The good thing is that the CBD was abandoned everyone's gone to suburban malls.

A pleasant 26 or 27 here with a cool nor-easter coming off the ocean.
I do, however, feel sorry for you cabbage patchers and crow eaters.

It's 16 in London and I don't even have the fire on. It's far too warm for this time of year.

I really couldn't live in those sorts of temperatures. I'd prefer a cold, crisp day. Most I can deal with on a daily basis would be around 26/27. It's 20 December and it's 17 today. I have washing out drying on my line. That really isn't right.

It's 9pm and it is still 30C. Think the aircon will be on all night tonight.

bah, one hour later and nothing has changed. Still 30 C. Feels like our air con isn't working til you move into the kitchen and realise how hot it still is.

What is the weather doing in my part of the world?
Not what it bloody should - there are daffodils flowering in the park, poor things.

-3 C and sunny. which is the right weather, but the +5 C and misty rains of 2 days ago, that was completely wrong. the snow cover looks like mid march.

So it was officially the hottest December night for about 15 years - I've scarcely slept, even moving to the sofa in the lounge room with the aircon didn't really help. The coolest it got was 24C at 6am, and then it started to go up again. Bring on the cool change later today!

much too warm for the time of the year, as others nearby already pointed out ... a. got a sled for her birthday last year, and never got to try it out then - so she really needs some snow and cold this winter to finally get to see what the sled is for. so if anyone has snow, please send it here ...

It's been fucking hot - the combination of fucking hot and jetlag absolutely floored me on Saturday.
Yesterday's cool change helped although can someone please explain how I found 12ish degrees in London warm and 20ish degrees in the 'rat cold?

Buggered if I know.
I know I've happily sat on the beach in just swimmers or t shirt and shorts at 18C in the UK, and even gone in for a paddle. Wouldn't dream of doing that here.

Sad statistics from my town: We're about to break the 1861 record for number of days with precipitation in a year. So far, we're at 274 days...
