I should add that it was around the same time as grunge, so I couldn't think of anything less cool to my pre-teen self than a Laura Ashley dress.

I’ve seen some around here in really dreadful colours, like beige, mustard, and pink in the print. The blue is a little better. I find dresses more comfortable than pants, but not these!

I will not click on that link! I've just bought some underwear and my fb feed is full of underwear ads! I'm not sure why I'm still using fb tbh.

Cute comfortable boots. Not because they are ugly, but because I want them all. I know that they all cannot be that comfy.

I find dresses more comfortable than pants, but not these! Not a cross dresser, but at this time of year so do I - a Burmese Longhi, a sarong etc. All comfortable and all practical. It's gear that I have not so far had the courage to wear into town, however, though I have a fair wardrobe of it.

I got rid of all my dresses and skirts several years ago. I'd had enough of all the leg-shaving and having to have particular shoes and tights in the winter and whatnot.

My dresses are all long enough to cover unshaven legs, and it is warm enough here not to wear tights. I wear trousers on the very few cold days.

I can't understand why anyone would buy a winter coat or sweater that was just open - no buttons, nor snaps, nor zipper. I looked at sweaters online and there were dozens of open cardigans or v-necks with no collars and the top button barely above the waist. What's the point?
I finally ordered a wool sweater from Ireland that buttoned all the way up to the neck and had a nice collar that could be flipped up, too. I love it!

I have sweaters like that - like a jacket for doing things inside, not a sweater to actually keep you warm outside

Plus her stuff has gotten kind of weirder and more boring and also I can't afford it anymore. $450 for a linen jacket? No

I have sweaters like that - like a jacket for doing things inside, not a sweater to actually keep you warm outside I need something that keeps me warm inside. Hence slowly designing the world's ugliest cardigan to crochet myself, which will have tight cuffs, a scarf on the neck, full buttons, pockets...
