I have really bad feet. I rotate my day shoes to get more mileage out of them. Now I am feeling like some of them are not comfortable for a full day of my shenanigans. So more expensive inserts or a new pair? I will have to go to an actual retail store. Nowadays that seems like a real time waster.

A Nightmare doll Mang Tae because I can’t find my other one anywhere. Instead of paying $29.99 - that’s US so $45.91 AUD! I bought it on Aiexpress for 75 cents plus with postage, $3.59. That is a big difference.

Paid to renew my drivers' license, online (which is so nice compared with the olden days of standing around at the MVA for hours). It's good until 2032, which is way off in the incomprehensible future.

My license is good for one more year. Luckily the AAA in the next town does renewals by appointment. At my age I have to renew in person and pass a vision test.

Mine is due next month. I need to look at the paperwork, as I’m not sure what’s needed. It should be free because I’m on the pension.

Last night: a very nice drink that was kind of like a Manhattan a sandwich
Today: cappuccino groceries coffee filters that I have to order online because they don't sell them at any of the grocery stores around here because I had to have a fancy-ass Japanese coffee pourover dripper

haggis and ostrich burgers yesterday, crackers today. the place i work is in a bit of a food desert, and it was almost impossible to buy plain, boring, no-fat no-salt no-sugar crackers. There's almost no healthy food on offer, despite being in a residential area and having 8 businesses that call themselves grocery stores. No wonder poor people are unhealthy.

Not today, which has only just started, but yesterday. Two really nice bottles of local wine from the wine co-op. There has been a series of wines that play on the name "Ahr" as a fundraiser for flood victims and rebuilding efforts. So we've had "SolidAHRität", "We AHR family" etc. There is a new one out called "DankbAHR". Dankbar means grateful or thankful in German so I thought it was perfect to bring as a present to friends putting us up for the night!
